This Refund & Returns Policy applies to purchases made through our website.


2. Age Restriction

We only sell alcohol to customers aged 18 or over. By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. Deliveries may require age verification upon receipt.


3. Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable consumer protection laws.

If goods are faulty, damaged, not as described, or unfit for purpose, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, or other remedy as provided by law.


4. Cancellation Rights for Online Orders

Under UK consumer law, customers generally have the right to cancel an online order within 14 days of receiving the goods and receive a refund. However, there are exceptions for certain goods, including perishable items.

Perishable Goods Exception

Beer and other alcoholic beverages sold by us are consumable products and may be treated as perishable goods due to their limited shelf life and food safety considerations.

Accordingly, we reserve the right to refuse returns and change-of-mind cancellations for beer products once they have been delivered, except where the goods are:

  • Faulty;
  • Damaged in transit;
  • Not as described; or
  • Incorrectly supplied.

This does not affect your statutory rights.


5. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Orders

Please inspect your order upon delivery.

If you receive:

  • Broken bottles or cans;
  • Leaking products;
  • Incorrect items;
  • Products that are clearly defective; or
  • Products that do not match your order,

please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at thirsty@slowbru.beer.

To help us process your claim quickly, please provide:

  • Your order number;
  • A description of the issue; and
  • Photographs of the product and packaging where possible.

Depending on the circumstances, we may offer:

  • A replacement;
  • A refund; or
  • A partial refund.

We may ask for further information before processing a claim.


6. Non-Delivery

If your order has not arrived within the expected delivery timeframe, please contact us as soon as possible.

Where an order is confirmed as lost in transit, we will investigate with the courier and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement or refund.


7. Returns

Because we sell consumable alcoholic products, we generally do not accept returns of delivered beer products unless:

  • The product is faulty;
  • The product is damaged;
  • The product was supplied incorrectly; or
  • We have expressly agreed to the return.

Products must not be disposed of until we have had an opportunity to assess the issue.


8. Refunds

Where a refund is approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for purchase.

Refunds are typically processed within 14 days of approval, although your bank or card provider may take longer to credit your account.


9. Refused Deliveries

If a delivery is refused without a valid reason, or if delivery cannot be completed because:

  • Age verification cannot be completed;
  • Incorrect delivery information was provided; or
  • The recipient is unavailable after repeated delivery attempts,

we may deduct any courier charges, return costs, or other reasonable costs incurred before issuing any refund where permitted by law.
